Yes, we absolutely travel! Whether your project takes us across the state or out of state, we’re happy to bring our gear and creativity wherever your story needs to be told. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance, so feel free to reach out with your location and we’ll provide a custom quote.

The longer the runway, the better! While every project is different, we recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance whenever possible. This gives us enough time to plan, schedule, and deliver your video without rushing the creative or production process.
That said, if you’re on a tighter timeline, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’ll do our best to make it work or offer alternative options.
We don’t — at least not beyond drone photography. Our focus is entirely on videography, so we can give our full attention to crafting high-quality, story-driven films.

It depends — and that’s intentional. We don’t begin with deliverables. We begin with direction.
Cub Bear Creative takes a strategy-first approach, which means we don’t start with cameras or deliverables. We start with clarity.

All projects begin with a dedicated strategy engagement. This phase ensures your investment in video is purposeful, emotionally resonant, and aligned with your larger goals. From there, we develop a custom production proposal based on the strategy we define together.
Unfortunately, no. To keep everything legal and hassle-free, we handle all music licensing through a large, carefully curated library of tracks spanning a wide range of genres and styles. This means you’ll have plenty of great options to choose from, tailored to fit the mood and style of your video—all fully licensed for use across social media platforms and events without any copyright worries.

Yes, we do. To officially reserve your video project and begin pre-production planning, we require a retainer fee up front. This helps secure your spot on our calendar and ensures we can commit the time and resources your project deserves. The remaining balance is typically due 15 days after the final video delivery, but we’re happy to walk you through the full payment schedule during the booking process.
We accept payments via ACH transfer, check, or credit card for your convenience. Please note that credit card payments incur a processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, which helps cover the cost charged by payment processors. If you have any questions about payment options or need assistance, just let us know — we’re happy to help!

Drone FAQs
Yep, we sure do! Drone photography and videography is available as part of our services and adds a cinematic touch to any project. We are FAA Part 107 certified, which means we’re fully licensed to operate drones commercially and ensure all flights are conducted safely and legally.
Drone services can be an added to almost any project – just let us know during booking.
Not everywhere — but in most places, yes! Drone flights are regulated by the FAA, and we use official flight apps to check airspace restrictions before every shoot. Each location has a designated altitude “ceiling,” and in some areas, flights may be temporarily or permanently restricted — for example, near airports or during major public events.
The good news? All we need from you is the location you’d like aerial footage of, and we’ll take care of checking the flight permissions and letting you know what’s possible.
